Background

A Quorum sets the percentage of voting members required to pass a proposal through the DAO. It is required to be set within the daodao zone platform.

Why?

At present the Quorum is set at

ZecHub provides an open source educational platform where community members can work together on creating, validating, and promoting content that supports the Zcash ecosystem. ZecHub believes:

* Privacy is a human right
* Education should be open-source and accessible worldwide
* Community members have a right to earn ZEC privately

1. Background 

A Quorum sets the percentage of voting members required to pass a proposal through the DAO. It is required to be set within the daodao zone platform.

2. Why?      

At present the Quorum is set at 1%. This means too few members involved in a vote can pass DAO proposals.

3. Proposal  

We propose to increase the Quorum to 50% whereby at present a total of 5 voting members will be needed for any vote to pass. 

4. Action    

A vote of "Yes" supports the proposal and will execute an increase of Quorum to 50%.
